Adult Classes
Faith and Life
In this class members share experiences and study topics that help us live as Christians with the practical matters of life.
Current Events
The Current Events class discusses a variety of topics in the news from a Christian perspective.
Text of the Week
The Adult Bible Study focuses on the text of the lectionary, ie. the same Scripture readings as used in worship and for the sermon that day.
(Re?)Thinking Theology
What do we know about the Gospels and how do we know it? This class uses the DVD-based curriculum "Living the Questions," a resource that allows participants to raise questions about faith and to explore what a meaningful faith can look like in today's world.
Seekers
Watch movies with Charleton Heston, and get to know cultural and historical background information of the Hebrew Scriptures. Questions discussed are: How does a tabernacle look like? What are the religious holidays? Why so many laws and sacrifices? How do we understand the use of the Hebrew Scripture in the New Testament?
The Parenting Class will use the curriculum ProActive Parenting (a video-based small group study). This class can help parents outline a parenting plan based on family's priorities and values.
